Don Dario Fo is a direct grandson of Donnerhall, the most successful dressage warmblood stallion on Europe.

Purchased by Ruth and Bob Piper in October 1999, with assistance from Michael Klimke and Manolo Mendez, Dario Fo arrived in Australia on New Year's Day 2001.

Dario Fo completed his 100 day performance test in April 2000 at Neustadt/Dosse. He scored well above average and placed third overall in the dressage section, finishing seventh out of 37 stallions overall.

In August 2000 at the International Dressage Festival at Lingen, Germany, Dario won the five year old class with an outstanding result.

Currently stationed at Equestrian La Mancha in Sunbury, Victoria, Dario is training with Manolo Mendez. Manolo has handled many stallions in his career and continally comments on Dario Fo's outstanding character.
